Detailing your Mercedes-Benz EQB

The EQB is a GLB with a battery, which means a family interior with the same crumbs and juice plus a gloss-black nose that scratches easily. What we watch for on a EQB

• The closed front panel is gloss black and scratches more easily than a chrome grille; it gets foam and a soft mitt only
• The optional third row is for kids and collects crumbs and wrappers; we fold the second row to reach it
• Beige Artico shows denim dye and juice stains, and a foaming synthetic leather cleaner removes most of it without hazing
• The charge port on the rear bumper corner collects salt spray on the 401; we clean the flap and surround with a brush and damp cloth
• The boxy roof is flat and holds water spots and sap; we polish it and seal it with the rest of the paint
