Fine drywall, concrete and sanding dust cleaned from interiors, vents and cargo areas with HEPA vacuums and air.
If you work in renovation, drywall, tiling or demolition, your vehicle collects a layer of pale powder that sticks to everything. Drywall dust gets into vents, seat seams, door cards and cargo carpets, and then puffs out every time you close a door.
Cleaning it is not the same as cleaning dirt. Fine particles need containment, filtration and a particular order of work, or they simply move around the cabin.
We clean work vehicles and personal cars alike, whether the dust came from your own basement renovation or a day on the job. You keep working while we clean at your driveway, yard or office lot.
Drywall and concrete dust is so fine that a household or shop vacuum pushes it straight through the filter and back into the air. We use HEPA-filtered vacuums so the particles stay captured.
We also work top down: headliner and vents first, then dash and doors, then seats, then carpet. That way dust settles onto surfaces we have not cleaned yet.
The cabin filter is the last stop. A clogged one blows dust back in, so we recommend replacing it after the interior is cleaned.
Door pockets, seat rails, the area under the seats, and cargo trays hold more than you expect. Vents and the cabin filter act as dust traps, and drywall powder mixed with a little moisture turns into a pasty film on dark plastics.
Tools and ladders in the cargo area leave grey streaks on the carpet that need agitation and extraction.
A light pass over the dash and steering wheel with a damp microfibre near the end picks up whatever the air moved while we worked.
Work trucks and cargo vans take the worst of it, since bags of compound, saws and sanders leak dust into the bed or load floor. We can clean beds with a foam wash, degrease tool marks, and wash the underside of tonneau covers.
If you have a branded vehicle, we are careful with decals, wraps and ladder racks.
Fine concrete dust and cement residue can etch paint and glass if left, particularly when mixed with rain. Washing it off sooner is better.
Older renovation work, such as demolition on pre-1980s homes, can involve asbestos or lead dust. If your job involved suspect materials, tell us before booking; we are not set up for hazardous dust and will say no.
For ordinary drywall, concrete and sanding dust, we wear masks and gloves, vent the vehicle properly and dispose of vacuum waste correctly.
Typical time: 2–4 hours depending on vehicle size and how much dust has built up.
